Why quantum resistance
Most blockchains rely on cryptography that quantum computers may eventually break. When that day comes, networks that haven’t migrated won’t get a second chance. ATOM Quantum (ATQM) — the ecosystem’s own Layer 1 — is built from scratch on a new generation of protection, already approved by the U.S. government as the standard for critical systems.

What is already live
In July 2026 the ATQM testnet went live — a full working version of the network, open for public testing. Along with it the team shipped:

- Explorer — transactions visible in real time;
- Faucet — free test tokens to try the network;
- Wallet — a browser extension to hold and manage ATQM;
- Whitepaper — the full architecture, published first as a preprint and finalized with tokenomics within weeks.
The testnet works like a dress rehearsal: the tokens aren’t real, but the technology is — anyone can install the wallet, request tokens from the faucet and send transactions.

Built for developers
